The Kootenay Conservation Program hosts an on-line Stewardship Solutions Toolkit that will inform you about local resources and tools available to you as a resident or property owner in order to assist in your own conservation efforts. The Stewardship Solutions Toolkit is a portal to dozens of Kootenay based services that address stewardship of private land; a one-stop shop for anyone interested in stewardship and conservation. This toolkit introduces you to the organizations that provide stewardship solutions in your particular area of the Kootenays. These organizations focus on a range of services including habitat enhancement and restoration, fire prevention, invasive species control, water quality monitoring, wildlife reporting, environmental farm planning and more.
