This video flies over the Slocan Watershed from Summit Lake to the confluence of the Slocan and Kootenay Rivers. The tour begins at Summit Lake, which flows into Bonanza Creek, to Slocan Lake, then to the Slocan River, which meets up with the Kootenay River – making up part of the Columbia Basin.
The Slocan Watershed Tour was created using Google Earth Pro and edited with Windows Movie Maker 7. It was developed by the Selkirk Geospatial Research Centre for the Slocan Lake Stewardship Society, a member of the Columbia Basin Watershed Network. This project was funded by the Columbia Basin Trust.
